Healing isn't linear, and neither was the journey to get to June Rose Skin.
In 2019, I was going through a transition that touched parts of myself that were unfamiliar or willingly closed. I started doing the work that was required to get to a version of myself I didn’t believe existed. Skincare became not only a hobby for me, but a passion.
I've had set backs, mishaps, delays and restarts but I stand in the truth that I have accomplished the largest priority for me, and this brand: to make a product that centered Black women in every aspect.
I am proud to say that all of the critical pieces of June Rose Skin have been created and developed by the women of our community. From formulation to branding and all of the things behind the covers, it has been driven for and by us.
